'AS IF' EVENTS
FOR THE GIRLS WHO DARE TO PARTY
THE BRIEF
I was tasked with creating a printed publication that identified a problem within the events industry and creating a solution in response to my findings.
THE OUTCOME
Based on Secondary and Primary research, I identified that university campuses across the UK lack a safe space for women to party how they want to, away from the intrusion of the male gaze and threats of harassment.
I saw an opportunity to create a safe space for women to party to their heart’s content, without fear of sexualisation and objectification… so I created it (theoretically)!
My Self-Devised Publication allowed me to develop an event campaign in collaboration with Lounge Underwear and the Lounge Foundation to provide UK universities with affordable and accessible women-only events.
